A word of advice from us: Enter competitions as soon as they are released and book accommodation early.

Other Events
English Schools Athletics
This is the big one, the pinnacle of youth athletics. Where hundreds of the country's best young talent come together to battle it out. This competition is where your child's athletic journey can take its next step whether that's XC, track & field or multi events.
Though it is important to consider it isn't as straightforward as other competitions to get into.
Just ensure:
- Your child enters their county schools athletics championships.
- Your child's school are aware of the event and how they can help.
- You ask your child's county athletics team any questions before it's too late.

Lee Valley Athletics Centre
As the only indoor 200m track in the South of England, Lee Valley host numerous indoor competitions and disciplines from sprints and multi events to BMCs, they have it all.
becoming famous for their "Lee Valley Diamond League" Sprint events with great +winds and flipping the track for fast times! INNOVATIVE.

British Milers Club
BMCs, a staple for any distance athlete, where hundreds flock to distance only events with fast times are guaranteed. Events are hosted all across the country so you're more than likely to find one that works for you!

For those of you looking for great competitions in the North of England, the Northern Athletics website provides a heap of events with online entry. Including Manchester, Sheffield and XC.

South of England Athletics Events
Athletes based in the South of England should take a look at this at the start of the season to scope out those they want to compete at.
Their site has competition options from track & field to fell running, check it out! However, they only really have championship events on there.
